About the position

As an important member of our HR team, you will become part of our international and dynamic venture capital / start-up environment. You will deal with diverse and challenging tasks that require a motivated and open-minded approach. Together as a team, we handle everything employee-related to ensure that the office runs smoothly on a daily basis. We are now looking for a part-time, 20 hours a week, HR Assistant (f/m/d) to complete our team in Vienna. We are looking forward to meeting you.

Your responsibilities

• Support the Human Resources team in their day-to-day business
• Be the backbone of the HR team (handling administrative work such as scheduling appointments, drafting letters or contracts for employees, preparing visa applications, maintaining records and information in different systems)
• Support employees during their employment life-cycle (welcoming, onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth offboarding process when needed)
• Support the rollout of strategic HR initiatives and projects administratively
• Assist in preparing presentations for meetings and workshops

• 3+ years of experience in an administrative position
• HR background of advantage but not a must (office management also works)
• You have an eye for detail and are used to fast paced working environments
• Affinity to tech tools, learning new HR tools and processes on a regular basis is what keeps things interesting for you
• You’re a natural at establishing relationships with people and feel comfortable in a team environment, as well as getting tasks done individually
• The ability to plan ahead to meet deadlines with a high level of personal organisation
• Integrity and the ability to handle confidential information
• You’re a communicator with a positive approach to problem solving
• Fluent in English (Business English) and German
